Dopo una prova con la mia G9,  poche righe sulla CANON HV20. After a test with my G9, a few lines on CANON HV20. Acquistata da quasi un anno ho purtroppo girato pochi video, ma ho avuto modo di apprezzare le sue doti. Nella scelta di una videocamera concorrono molti fattori, dall’economicità alla praticità e semplicità d’uso, dalle prestazioni alla versatilità. In choosing a camcorder many factors contribute, dall'economicità the convenience and ease of use, performance with the versatility.

Dati di dettaglio si trovano facilmente in rete. Detailed information can be found easily on the network. Ciò che mi ha spinto verso questa scelta sono stati: What has prompted me to this choice are:

• l’alta definizione high definition
• la possibilità di fare acquisizione da sorgenti analogiche come ad esempio un videoregistratore. the ability to make acquisitions from analog sources such as a VCR. Questa funzione sta sparendo sulle videocamere non professionali. This feature is not disappearing on professional camcorders.
• il MiniDV come formato di registrazione. MiniDV as the recording format. Credo che sia ancora il miglior sistema per chi vuole fare editing. I think it is still the best system for those who want to do editing. Purtroppo è meno versatile di un hard disk. Unfortunately, it is less versatile than a hard disk.
• la presa HDMI per collegarsi direttamente alla TV HD. the HDMI to connect directly to HD TV.
• lo stabilizzatore ottico, davvero superbo. the optical stabilizer, really superb.
